How it works

Each Olababy baby food container is a round silicone pot 2.63 inches across with a secure silicone lid, sized to hold a single baby meal or snack. The small size means no half-empty adult tubs taking up fridge space.

Fill a set during batch prep and store it in the freezer, or pack a snack pot in the diaper bag for daycare, the car or a day out.

Why parents choose it

  • Two sizes, 2oz or 4oz, with four pots of one size per pack
  • Pots stack to take less room in the fridge, freezer or bag
  • Freezer-safe for batch-prepped purees and portions
  • Secure silicone lids for packing snacks in a diaper bag

Who it is for

Good fit for
  • Packing snacks and portions for daycare, the car or a day out. Tagged 6 to 12 months, 12 months and up and on-the-go.
  • Four containers with lids, in two sizes as a purchasable option.
  • A parent who wants silicone rather than rigid plastic in a bag.
Not right for
  • Freezing measured baby food portions. The 1/2 cup freezer tray is built for that.
  • Carrying liquids. These are snack containers, not sealed cups.
  • A newborn.

Right-sized silicone containers make batch-prepped baby food and toddler snacks practical, portioning ahead is one of the best habits I can give families.

Why Olababy

Every feeding product is one material, food-grade silicone, soft enough for gums that are still teething and inert enough to go through a dishwasher for years. The panel above names what is in it and what is kept out of it.

Olababy has designed in Portland, Oregon since 2015, with parents testing the things their own children eat from.

More about this one

Are these baby food containers freezer-safe?

Yes. Olababy silicone baby food containers are freezer-safe, so a batch of purees can be portioned into the 2oz or 4oz pots and stored with the lids on. The pots stack in the freezer and wash on the upper dishwasher rack once empty. For freezing many half cup portions at once, the Olababy 1/2 cup freezer tray is the dedicated option.

How much does each container hold?

Each Olababy container holds either 2 oz or 4 oz, depending on the size chosen, and every pack is four of the same size. Both sizes share a 2.63 inch diameter. The 2oz pot stands 1.69 inches tall and the 4oz pot stands 2.48 inches tall, so the larger pot takes the same shelf footprint with more room inside.

What is included

4 containers with lids, all in the size chosen: 2oz or 4oz.

How to clean it

Dishwasher safe (top rack).

More questions (5)

What is the best way to store homemade baby food?

Batch it and freeze it in meal-size portions. Our silicone freezer tray holds 1/2-cup servings under an airtight lid that stacks flat and blocks freezer odors, and the flexible silicone releases one serving at a time. For daily meals and snacks on the go, stackable 2oz and 4oz silicone storage containers with secure lids keep portions ready.

Is this safe for my baby?

Yes. Olababy feeding products are made from 100% high-purity food-grade silicone with no fillers, free of BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalates, and tested to FDA food-contact standards.

How do I clean and sterilize it?

Silicone products are dishwasher safe (top rack) and can be sterilized in boiling water or a steam sterilizer. Air-dry fully before storing.

What if it does not work for us?

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery (see our return policy for details). US shipping is free on orders over $49.
