When everything goes in the mouth, make the chewing safe
Silicone teething mittens strap softly onto little hands, putting textured surfaces exactly where young babies already gnaw, and because a mitten is worn rather than held it cannot be dropped before a steady grasp develops. Why a mitten rather than a teether ring?
A ring has to be picked up, held and brought to the mouth, which is a sequence a young baby has not put together yet. A mitten is already on the hand that is already in the mouth. Once a grasp is reliable, rings and handles start working, and the mitten stops being needed.
Can these go in the freezer?
Cold helps sore gums, and a short spell in the fridge is the safer version of this: fridge cold rather than freezer hard. A rock solid frozen object is uncomfortable against a gum that is already inflamed. Wash before and after, top rack, and let the silicone dry fully.
