The Olababy Medela adapter fits Medela pumps that use the Medela pump thread, since it is cut to that thread and nothing else. It is not made for Spectra pumps, which have a separate Olababy adapter, or for other pump brands. You also need a GentleBottle, because the other end of the adapter threads onto that bottle.

Saved me
This bottle save my trip to Mexico. I’m leaving soon to Mexico and my baby is staying with my husband so I wanted to start giving him bottles. Doesn’t fit all Medela products.
I have the Medela Freestyle and these do not fit those pieces. However, my husband broke the sides off of my pump parts so that they would fit. It isn’t pretty but it works and I love pumping into Ola Baby bottles!

Doesn't screw on properly and leaks
In theory, this is fantastic, but for some reason the threads in the adapter don't line up with the GentleBaby bottle. The result is that you end up with one very specific point of leakage (and of course, that's the point that was pointed down for me when I was pumping). Looks like I'm not the only one having this issue.

Doesn’t screw well but still helpful
This adapter fits my Medela pump great, but the thing that’s weird is that it doesn’t screw onto my Ola Baby Gentle Bottle properly. It’s more like you have to push to pop it on rather than screw. So when I go to remove the adapter from the bottle, it’s a little tricky and I always end up spilling some milk. I still use it because I don’t want to pump into the plastic medela bottles, but it just seems like this should be an easy fix since it’s just a simple plastic part. The part that screws onto the bottle also has a kind of jagged edge on mine.
