Works from day one through month six

• Newborns (0–3 months): Replaces cotton scratch mitts that soak through with saliva. Silicone doesn't absorb moisture — it keeps hands dry and prevents face scratching without becoming a soggy wrap.
• Pre-grasp teething (3–6 months): Textured food-grade silicone surface provides direct gum pressure where baby is already mouthing. Chill in the refrigerator (not freezer) for additional soothing relief on inflamed gums.

Compatible with teething gels and oils

Apply a small amount of a benzocaine-free teething gel or organic teething oil (chamomile-based oils, Mommy's Bliss Organic, Dr. Talbot's Natural, Boiron Camilia drops) directly to the textured surface. When baby mouths the mitten, the product transfers naturally to the gums — without requiring grasp. Important: the FDA advises against benzocaine-containing products (standard Orajel, Anbesol) for children under 2. Always use infant-safe, benzocaine-free formulas and consult your pediatrician for babies under 3 months.
